What is the Heart of America Quilt?

· This quilt is being made by piecing together panels of fabric, such as seen above, to form the framework of one large (very large) quilt. · Now encompassing all 50 states we're still a spark which the winds of support are fueling into a wildfire. · Each square measures approx. sixteen square feet. · Would you like one for your school or community? Would you like specific info. to make one for your school and have it placed in The Heart of America Quilt? Need info on how to do a public signing? Please call or email the places below. · When complete this quilt will form a large flag to honor those who lost their life on Sept.11th. The stripes will hold the names of our nation and the stars will hold the names of those we honor. · At present this quilt is 19,000sq.ft. and continues to grow on a daily basis. · We have been told many times that the quilt is healing and bringing unity to many communities. That makes it a double gift. Our President has asked for the help of this nation. I offer you his words (quoting a victim and hero) " lets roll". We are one nation.
